According to the Bristol Herald Courier, "the Virginia Tobacco Commission provided a $750,000 economic development grant and — during a called meeting of the City Council and Industrial Development Authority — the city agreed to provide a $1.2 million no-net loss incentive that is to be paid over time from a percentage of tax revenues generated by the business."
Description
Hotel Bristol is a boutique hotel that is planned for delivery in Fall 2017. The property is being remodeled to accommodate 67 rooms, a conference hall & a rooftop lounge. South Carolina based, McCall Capital LLC is the lead developer for the $18 million project and Tennessee based, BurWil Construction will handle the construction of the project. Charlestowne Hotels, a South Carolina based hotel management company will oversee the management of the property.
