Mr. Lawrence currently runs an affordable housing consulting business focused in the Mid-Atlantic Region. He has over 18 years of experience in affordable housing as a Developer and Developer Consultant. His experience includes workforce, affordable, mixed income and mixed-use housing. His clients include for profit and non profit developers, real estate investors, churches and other non-profit organizations. His direct involvement in developments has resulted in over 550 affordable units in Washington, DC and Shreveport, LA.
His current projects are in Washington, DC and Philadelphia where he has structured a joint venture with a church and a developer to produce a senior affordable housing and commercial use development. In Pennsylvania, he is also a Realtor with EXP Realty servicing developers, and investors. He is currently assisting in raising equity for an opportunity zone development in North Philadelphia. Mr. Lawrence is an active public speaker specifically on the topic of Public/Private Partnerships in Affordable Housing for Faith Based Organizations.

His prior experience includes serving as a Vice President of Development, Southeast Region for Michaels Development, a Marlton, NJ national developer and largest affordable housing owner. In addition, he served as a Senior Manager with DC based Chapman Development and a manger with Cohn Reznick’s Bethesda based Real Estate Transactions Group. All his experience was focused on affordable housing.
Mr. Lawrence is a Philadelphia native who holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Masters in Taxation Degree from Temple University as well as an inactive MD. CPA license. He is also an MBA student advisor for Temple’s Fox School of Business Consulting Group, President of Friend Select’s National Alumni Board and Fundraising Chair for the Zeta Omicron Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha.
