Perseus Realty LLC and UIP (Urban Investment Partners), plan to add a new 7-story, 295 unit apartment building behind on the existing 289 unit Capitol Park Tower building at 301 G Street in Southwest DC. 8% or 24 units will be reserved for affordable housing (12 at 50% AMI, and 12 at 80% AMI) and the existing residential building will be modernized to include renovated units. Based on preliminary discussions, Perseus is planning to deliver a mix of 1-3 bedroom units.
The groundbreaking is expected to commence in January of 2016, and the construction is slated to take roughly 24 months to complete.
