Description

Arbor View Apartments, a 156 unit mixed income apartment complex in southeast DC recently went through a $11.7 million renovation. The building was previously known as Southern Ridge Apartments prior to the renovation. Floor plans at Arbor View Apartments include one efficiency apartment, and one-, two-, and three bedroom apartment units located in six buildings on Southern Avenue.

According to the development fact sheet provided by CPDC, "the recapitalization of Arbor View included the full rehabilitation of 51 apartments, including upgraded kitchens and bathrooms, new flooring, and new gas heating with thermostats. The remaining 105 apartments underwent moderate rehabilitation."

After the renovation, it took roughly 4-5 months to achieve 92 percent occupancy according to an interview conducted by AreaProbe.
