Description

Reizenstein Middle School was demolished to create space for the Bakery Square 2.0 development in the East Liberty neighborhood. This development will produce approximately 425,000 sq ft of new office space, apartments, retail, 350 residential apartments and 52 townhomes when completed.

The residential component should be completed in 2014, and the commercial office buildings are expected to be delivered in 2016. The project team received a $2 million grant from the Department of Commerce Economic Development Administration and $500,000 in County Gaming Funds.
