Description

Bancroft Elementary School consist of five adjoining buildings. "The original building was constructed in 1923, with additions constructed in 1932, 1938, 1961, and 1973. Although the buildings are adjoining, they consist of various misaligned levels and present a number of operational challenges. The project at hand is intended to make the various buildings on campus more unified both operationally and administratively."

In order to achieve this goal, some of the existing buildings will need to be demolished and rebuilt. Upon completion of the project, the school will have the capacity to house 550 students. The subject property will have a new media center, art room, indoor play, and auditorium.
