Description

The Brookland Elementary School was demolished to make way for the 107,000 SF Brookland Middle School. The new facility will accommodate 540 students and include a gymnasium, new cafeteria, specialized performance and practice spaces, science and technology labs, administrative space, and a media center.  

According to the Department of General Services, there will be several classrooms dedicated to "world languages and an outdoor learning area atop the gym to serve as an alternative space for learning and socializing."
