Description
The Duke Ellington School of the Arts is bounded by 35th Street, R Street, 36th Street, and Reservior Road NW. The existing 176,000 square foot facility will undergo renovations to increase the size of the school and provide modern enhancements. The facility will introduce a new cafeteria, underground parking, recording studio, make-up room, green room, performance hall, fitness room, theatre studio, dance studio, digital arts/photo studio, printmaking studio, costume shop, film lab, biology lab, chemistry lab, multiple world languages classrooms, and administrative offices.
