Edit Back to listing

Description

MRP Realty and Florida Rock Development will construct a 1.15 million square feet mixed use development project situated across from the Washington Nationals baseball stadium in the Capitol Riverfront neighborhood of Washington, DC. When completed in 2016, the Riverfront on the Anacostia will have two Class A office buildings, 600 residential apartments, 80,000 square feet of retail space, 1,010 parking spaces, and a 325 room full-service hotel.

42 percent of the site will be left as open space for bike paths, walking, socializing, etc. The project design calls for two exterior public gathering places known as the Cascade Plaza and Anacostia Place which will feature a fountain sculpture from Raymond Kaskey.
