The commercial office building will be separated from the residential and lodging aspect of the development by a service area. Parking for the office building will be situated below the grade--based on the site plan there will be three levels--and parking for the hotel will be located 3 levels below grade as well. Vehicles that belong to the residents of the building will utilize an above ground parking valet system.
The completed project is said to combine the highest level of finishes and amenities with unparalleled views of the Potomac River and Washington, DC. The site will be developed by the existing co-owner JBG, a Maryland based development company and New York based architectural firm KPF Associates. MacFarlane Partners is the other co-owner of the existing site through a $2.5 million fund that was created called JCG Urban LLC according to the Washington Business Journal.
