The building was designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification. The LEED implementations will "reduce water and energy use by more the 75 percent", and "capture and use at least 50 percent of stormwater on site".
Description
Stone34 is a mixed use development with ground level retail space and over 4 levels of office space. The 120,000 SF site will be the headquarters for Brooks Sports Inc., a running footwear and apparel company based in Seattle. The complex will provide 216 below grade parking spaces, bicycle racks, and plugs for electric vehicles. Stone34 is the part of the Seattle Deep Green Pilot Program, which was created to "encourage the use and acceptance of deeper, sustainable development strategies".
