The Marigold at 11th Street is an existing senior housing assisted living facility. The development plans for the site calls for fourteen additional private one bedroom, one bathroom units. Housing units at the Marigold are all designated as rentals.
Marigold was the first public housing assisted living facility in the District of Columbia. Prior to this establishment, the building at 2905 11th Street NW was a public housing building. The transformation to a low-income assisted living facility for seniors was made possible through a stimulus grant.
