PMC Property Group acquired Schenley High School in early 2013 for $5.2 million, and the company plans to convert the historic property into a 160 unit luxury apartment building. The building will offer one and two-bedroom apartments to new tenants when completed in late 2014/early 2015.
Schenley High has sat vacant since the school closed in 2008 due to the need of extensive repairs. The sale also includes the pool and the gymnasium which was built in 1988 on a 4.1 acre site.
