The Thompson Chicago is a 247-room hotel in the Gold Coast neighborhood of Chicago. Before the construction of the Thompson Chicago took place, the site at 21 E Bellevue was previously known as the Sutton Place Hotel.
The Thompson Chicago will feature a new concept restaurant by One Off Hospitality called the Nico Osteria, and the hotel will also feature six bi-level penthouse lofts. The Salone Nico lounge, which is will be part of the hotel when completed, is scheduled to open in December of 2013.
